Estate lots, Carroll schools, and a fifteen-minute run to the airport.
Southlake and Westlake sit north-east of Fort Worth in Tarrant County, close enough to DFW International that the airport is a short drive rather than an expedition. Southlake is the larger and more built-out of the two, organized around Southlake Town Square and served by Carroll ISD, which is a substantial part of the area’s draw.
Westlake is quieter and more rural in feel, with larger parcels and a smaller population. Both markets are dominated by newer construction on generous lots — the kind of houses that were designed around motor courts, guest quarters and outdoor living rather than adapted to them later.
This is estate buying at a distance from the city center. Buyers trade proximity to Dallas for land, schools and newer construction, and for many the airport access settles it.
Current inventory is served through Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. Alex represents buyers on any listing in Southlake & Westlake, whoever holds it.
Alex represents buyers on any Southlake & Westlake listing, including homes marketed by other brokerages. That means one advisor across the whole market rather than a different agent for each house.
